DRIVETECH RACING SERIES ANNOUNCES OUR FALL THREE RACE SERIES!!

Toyota Speedway Irwindale 8/30 and 10/4 and
Season Finale as part of the PIR Stars Night at Tucson Raceway Park on 11/6.


The Drivetech Racing Series is dedicated to the driver being the difference! We accomplish this by using the Drivetech equally prepared Late Models, each car is equipped with the powerful and predictable Chevrolet ZZ-4 crate motor, we use 10 inch racing slicks, mated with our quick change rear-ends so we have the right gear for each track. The cars are lightning quick, predictable and perfect for our new racing series. You’ll get incredible feedback from your lead instructor/crew chief during the private three hour Drivetech practice, and each car will be tuned to your talents and driving abilities by your car chief. If you’ve ever considered giving short track racing a try but didn’t have the time or resources to buy and maintain a racecar, the Drivetech Racing Series was designed with you in mind. Plus, you have the added huge bonus of being on an equal playing field, these cars really are built to be the same and the drivers should be the difference, not money or “bending” the rules.

Now with the announcement of our fall series, we are going to two of the finest short tracks in the country. Toyota Speeway at Irwindale is one of the finest short tracks ever built, with its state of the art progressive banking, gorgeous grandstands and so much more the facility rivals that of many Cup tracks!!

Tucson Raceway Park is historic for launching the careers of many including Ron Hornaday and Greg Biffle was recently discovered there during Winter Heat! We ran our first race there in June and now we’re going back for Cup stars night on 11/6, this racetrack is an incredible place to race and was perfect for our first event. We can’t wait to go back!!

Here’s what’s included at each track in the Drivetech Racing Series:
  • Each race includes at least 3 hours of private Drivetech practice on raceday or the day preceding the race including a minimum of 100 laps.
  • At least 2 additional rounds of practice on raceday at each facility.
  • Safety equipment including firesuit, helmet and gloves. ( You may use your own if it is up to date)
  • Drivetech equally prepared Late Model for you to race including a Crew Chief/team manager who manages your car and two of your “teammates” cars and a Car Chief/Spotter dedicated to your car.
  • Drivetech car prep crew to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all cars.
  • In-Car radio for immediate feedback on the racetrack and spotting during the race.
  • Tires and fuel provided by Drivetech.
  • Refreshments including water and sports drinks at all times at the track and dinner on raceday.
  • Winners trophy and participation trophies for all.
  • On track Autograph session, meet your family, friends and fans on track prior to racing!
  • $300 to win each race, and $500 for the series winner!
  • Bring all your own additional pit crew, everyone is welcome at Drivetech. (Pit crew must be 16 and is subject to pit pass charges)

Costs and details: One race cost $2795.00, two races $2495.00 each, three race series $2295.00 per race. Insurance is $150.00 with a $2000.00 crash deductible due if your car is damaged.

NASCAR license and membership is due at Irwindale, this fee is estimated to be $90.00 and is payable to the track and NASCAR directly, you’ll get all the benefits of NASCAR membership. Pit passes due to each racetrack, ranging from $30-$45 are due to the track at sign in on raceday.
