CLASSES / PRICES

Drivetech gives you professional, personal attention, top-notch instruction and lots of driving time. Our students typically drive more than at other schools offering similar programs, equipment and tracks.

Even if this is your first time in a racecar you can take any class except Hot Laps, which is reserved for our graduates. The vast majority of students are first-timers, so you'll fit right in. No special skills are required to take a class other than the ability to operate a manual transmission.

Classes begin with a one-hour Drivers Meeting that covers instruction in driving techniques, safety procedures and everything else necessary to prepare you. The meeting begins with a narrated van ride around the track to show you the racing line and other track features and ends in the classroom. Then it's straight to your car! A crewmember buckles you in, checks your radio, and gives the thumbs up sign to your Instructor. You'll start your engine, hear that V8 roar, and pull onto the track!

All packages include drill & practice laps:

Short Track: 5 Laps
Speedway: 4 Laps
Super Speedway: 4 Laps

These laps are used to warm-up the racecar, and to get you comfortable and up to speed as quickly as possible. EXAMPLE: If you purchase Green Flag package for 26 laps, the first 4 laps will be run as warm up and drills. Then 22 laps will be run under the green flag for a total of 26 laps

Qualifications:

All drivers must be 18 years of age or older, with a valid drivers license to experience the thrill of driving a NASCAR racecar. If you're a thrill seeker and would like to go for a ride-along with one of our pros, you must be at least
10 years old.

Insurance:

For your protection, an insurance policy is available for $60.00 that covers damage to the racecar resulting from driver error, subject to a $1500.00 deductible.

Refunds:

No refunds provided for any reason; all sales are final.  Outside of thirty (30) days of your scheduled class date, if you need to reschedule for any reason you will be required to pay a $50 processing fee.  Inside of thirty (30) days of your scheduled class date, if you need to reschedule for any reason the fee will be 50% of your class tuition.  No cancellations or rescheduling allowed within 7 days of the event for any reason.  Substitutions of an otherwise qualified driver to avoid these penalties are permitted.

THE SHOOTOUT
Our entry level package for those looking for a that taste of speed and just enough time in the car to say, “I did it!!!”

START YOUR ENGINES
This is the class for those who just want enough laps to really get up to speed on the track, about twice as much as comparably-priced classes elsewhere. 16 laps.

GREEN FLAG
Drive for 26-36 laps. During the session the clock may be stopped for a mandatory pit stop, giving you a brief rest from the intensity of the track. In the pits the crew will bring water to you and quickly check your car. Before you know it, you're back on the track. Now you're really getting the feel of the car. Your speed is climbing and your lap times are dropping!

CHECKERED FLAG
Here you'll get 36-50 laps of driving plus two pit stops. This is a lot of driving at one time - longer than many actual races. If you want to know what your favorite stock car driver does you won't get any closer than this. When it's over you'll be ready for a celebration and eager to come back for more.

RACE DAY
Available in a one day session, you'll get 50-70 laps of seat time per day, divided into three driving sessions. You'll spend the time between sessions working with your instructor, talking to the crew and observing other drivers. It's a typical day at the track for a race car driver. The lesson plan varies according to the student population, the track and track conditions. Activities can include one-on-one pursuit with an instructor, side-by-side running and race starts. Most of all, there's plenty of high speed driving.

Hot Laps-for Graduates Only!
Our best value! Drivetech graduates can return and drive more laps under an instructor's supervision. It's almost a private lesson, but costs no more than a regular class! The experience you got in earlier classes really pays off here. Drive for 20 or 30 minutes with pit stops for rest.

Side By Side Ride with a Pro - NEW
For the ultimate experience enjoy our ride with a twist as we put you in a two car race, your driver and another will be just inches apart for much of this amazing experience around the track.  There’s nothing like a battle for position and you will feel that in this amazing race ride!!

High Speed Ride-Along
Ride Shotgun in a real NASCAR style racecar at some of the finest tracks in the country, speeds will exceed 150mph at tracks 1.5 miles and up!! Feel it for yourself, you will never watch racing the same again!
